Mary Livanos is an executive producer and an executive of production and development at Marvel Studios. She began her career at the studio in 2012 as a research and development intern. She progressed through a range of production and development roles, contributing to both film and television projects across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Livanos is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Before joining Marvel Studios, she worked as an assistant. She also served as a motion picture and literary talent intern at William Morris Endeavor. Within Marvel Studios, Livanos has been involved in the development and production of numerous high-profile projects. Her credits in production and development include Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and Captain Marvel (2019). She transitioned into senior producing roles with Marvel Studios' expansion into serialised storytelling, serving as co-executive producer on the limited series WandaVision (2021), which marked Marvel Studios' first Disney+ television series. As an executive producer, Livanos continued to oversee major Marvel Studios releases, including the feature film The Marvels (2023), and the television miniseries Agatha All Along (2024) and VisionQuest (2026). In addition to her executive responsibilities, she has appeared as herself in various behind-the-scenes and documentary-style productions, including Marvel Studios: Assembled (2021–2024), offering insight into the studio's creative and production processes. Livanos e was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series in 2021 as part of the producing team. In 2022, she received a nomination for the Producers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Producer of Limited or Anthology Series Television, shared with the series' other producers. Earlier in her career, she also wrote, directed, edited, and produced the short film Commitment Issues (2013).
